Head of Marketing

As a Head of Marketing, your primary responsibility will be to shape the strategic direction of lead generation initiatives for Sombra, focusing on the creation of premium marketing assets. These assets, encompassing elements such as website, case studies, client testimonials, and other collateral, will serve as instrumental tools in driving qualified leads and enhancing brand visibility.

We are considering candidates with experience in IT Services companies (500+ employees) based in Ukraine.


  • Previous experience in Marketing in IT Services business; 
  • Previous experience of work in or with any part of the Fintech industry would be a plus; 
  • Good understanding of the modern technology landscape, its trends, and key players; 
  • Superior leadership and collaboration skills; Very good organizational skills;
  • Ability to present data to decision-makers; 
  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset to succeed in a lean, results-driven, and fast-paced environment; 
  • Experience in working with the North American technology market; 
  • Ability to act independently, set priorities, and adapt to fluid environment;
  • Advanced level of written and spoken English.


  • Shaping a marketing strategy for the company and building its brand authority and reputation within it;
  • Developing value propositions through a deep understanding of business needs, pain points, and goals of potential customers; 
  • Conducting industry research, trends analysis, and market segmentation; 
  • Creating marketing plans including budget planning and execution management, as well as leads/revenue forecasting; 
  • Setting up and developing key functions in marketing organization: Digital, Content, SMM, PR&Communications. 
  • Managing Marketing operations, ensuring the stable and predictable flow of leads through marketing channels. 
  • Cooperating with the Delivery team to build an ecosystem of business cases and presales materials. 
  • Driving the content ensures the thought leadership of the company on the market.
